Shield version

Apple is one of those brands that people love, or absolutely despise. Over the years I became the latter and I'm not going back. However from what I'm seeing you folks have a much better app for Apple TV than Android. I'm guessing that has something to do with hardware.

If I'm right, why not try to port the Apple version to Shield? Because while most Android boxes give you constraints due to performance, I'm sure that problem doesn't exist with the over-powered Shield. That way folks can still have the better app without having to buy fruit, and for about the same money. Oh and don't LOCK it to the Shield. Because some of the boxes from China might be able to handle it. Just be clear and say you only support the Shield version running ON a Shield.

Of course it might just be purely a code issue. I don't know. I'm guessing.

They are in the Process of bringing features to Android. Try the Betas. They just updated PIP.

Porting Apple features is already being done.

Oh I realize they're doing it, but at a pace where folks are seeking alternatives like Emby for a front end, right? So while they're working to deal with the common Android device like Fire sticks and the like I was thinking why not take advantage of the Shield's crazy hardware.

I'll tell ya I only bought my first Shield 2 months ago, but every time I go use one of the other boxes in the house I want to replace it with a Shield. I think at the next sale I'm gonna pick up 2 or 3 more of them.
