Show ESPNPlus channels in guide only when programing is available

Not sure if this already exists. With 150+ channels available for ESPNPlus, it overwhelms the guide. My feature request is to show ESPNPlus channels in the guide only if there is actually something on the channel at that time.

Alternatively, i would be helpful to have ESPNPlus channels show only in "Sports" and at the same time be able to remove them from the "All Channels" selection in the guide.

If this all exists already (i did search the community), I apologize!!

• Create an ESPN+ Channel Collection and don't add any channels manually. Using the Automatic Channels rules, ignore every source except your ESPN+ source. Then use the Sports category. This will then give you a Channel Collection that is only the ESPN+ channels that are currently broadcasting.

I messed with this previously. Although it isolates the ESPNPlus channels, they still show in the "All Channels" list in the guide. That adds an additional 150 channels to the guide that do not necessarily have anything on at that time to scroll through in the guide. I guess I could add everything but the ESPNPlus channels to "favorite" and it would solve the issue.

Ah, OK. Yeah, I limit the EPlusTV channels in a Channel Collection by also including a single space as a keyword for the automatic collection. We have organized Channel Collections and don't use the "All Channels" guide at all, there are just way too many channels to get lost scrolling inside there. We turned off the "Alll Channels" collection from even displaying a long time ago. We created a Channel Collection called Favorites and it syncs to all our clients. I agree that's your best move forward.

We also have a Channel Collection called “More” that are just some overflow channels we like to surf through occasionally but aren’t necessarily “favorites.” Collections are great for all sorts of personalization, favorite genres, family members, specific sports, whatever you dream up,

I use a collection to sort out the blanks. I also start the channel numbers in the 20,000s so they are at the bottom of the “all” list.

Getting myself all organized!! How did you turn off "all channels" from displaying? Appreciate the help!

Settings > General > Live TV > All Channels Collection > Off
