hi just asking if its possible to have movies and tv shows in the same virtual channel
like few tv shows then few movies alternating between say every two shows episodes then every two movies or have you got to make a seperate channels ie one for shows and one for movies and no channels mixed with both

Yes, you can clearly do it manually by selecting the content yourself. I haven't tried to do a smartrule to pick both. You can also do interstitials, typically trailers or shorts, but you could maybe do shows as well?
100% I use this for franchises like starters or Marvel that have both TV shows and Movies. I also have decade specific channels with jtvshows and movies that are classics for that decade.
You can set your schedule manually by selecting episodes one by one and manually ordering them OR what I do is select "mini marathon" movies followed by 3-4 tv episodes and repeated.
