I disabled my PBS feed (source) in the client and the channels are not in the guide, but the DVR is still scheduling all my shows on them. (I'm disabling it at this point instead of deleting because I'm hoping that maybe there will be another workaround to get the docker container working again.) I did a guide delete DB and refresh to force a schedule update, but there's no change.
Is this a bug or intended behavior? Don't really want to have to delete all my PBS passes if I can help it.
You need to disable it in the dvr web UI sources.

The client has nothing to do with recording. You need to disable it where the recording happens.
Okay that sounds great but how do I do that? Do I have to hide the channels because I don't see a disable option in the settings for a given source on the DVR.
Yes, disable (hide) the channel in the source (can't pause or disable a whole source in the dvr, yet)
Then do a delete and recreate guide database on the dvr server
