Showtime offers the ability to stream both the east coast and west coast feeds online with a web browser at showtimeanytime.com. I use my TVE credentials to sign in and view. Is there a way to set up a channel to capture the stream and add to the line up?
Showtime and the other similar premium networks are DRM'd. Not supported on Channels DVR.
I understand DRM. The website offers a live stream and appears to use TVE login. Are we sure it is not possible?
It have suggested including these channels in the guide to consolidate the guide, even though Channels cannot presently record or play DRM channels. But, it would allow a single guide view and the ability to launch the currently playing show only (using the direct link rather than the channels server link).
