Wel...whatever u want to call it....just something that comes up on the screen, maybe a little red box in the corner or something, that indicates a signal drop or "Poor Signal" based on the the signal stats. The only thing i see from Channels is Tuner Not Responding, or sometimes Failed to Tune or 403 forbidden etc.
My TV's built in tuner does it...gives a banner on stations that are weak and start to break up, thus gives the watcher the reason why it is breaking up.
I have a few OTA stations that seem to be low signal late at night...and it is getting annoying having my mother freakout and have me "fix" the stream box everytime a channel starts to pause and break up. So it woudl be fruitful to have a onscreen notice that it is Poor Signal, then having me every time have to look at the server or think somehting else is wrong.
This idea would be relivent on AppleTV and Android tv..that why i thought to add my thought here, rather than create a new thread...
