Hello -

I have 2 ATV4’s running Channels from a HD Homerun PRIME with a cablecard. When I have both ATV4’s running simlutaneiously with the Channels app launched, the video is quite choppy (sometimes on both, sometimes just one) and unwatchable. When each ATV4/app runs independently - the product works without any issues.

When I log onto HD Homerun’s site to check on the cablecard status, signal quality and strength equals 100%. Obviously, the Prime product is supposed to support up to 3 tuners.

@maddox , @tmm1 . You guys are legit. Please advise when you can. I’m a little green with some of this stuff but I catch on quick :slight_smile:

This sounds like your home network is maxing out and cannot support the bandwidth for two simultaneous streams. Are you using wifi or Ethernet cables? What kind of router?

Thanks for quick reply. Wifi , ubiquiti router, 75 Mbps. Wifi coverage is solid throughout the house.

Hmm, that’s pretty strange then. If you can, try plugging in via Ethernet to compare performance.

I’ve also sent you our latest beta to try.

Can you describe the stuttering in more detail… how often does it happen?

Sorry for going dark on this. Amazingly, I went to take video of the shuttering issue and everything looks fine now. Unsure as to why but it did resolve itself somehow.
If it happens again, I’ll re-post to this thread.

Thanks for the beta version. It tested out great and I see it was released to the public today. Also, 9to5 mac has a great review today. Keep up the great work! Looking forward to seeing the DVR in action.
