Simultaneous recording with TV Anywhere?

Hey Guys, I'm coming from YouTube TV, so the word TUNER has been forgotten for awhile. I used to worry about tuners using TiVo and cable cards. If I'm only using Channels DVR with TV Anywhere... Besides for providing my own PC and storage space, will it pretty much function like YouTube TV? I don't need to worry about tuners, right? It will simultaneously record? Pull programs from season passes you create, right? Is there a limit to how many shows I'm recording at the same time? There didn't seem to be a limit with YouTube tv.

Please advise, thank you.

Tuners are only relevant for OTA antenna feeds, so it doesn't apply to you if you are just using TVE. You can record as much as you want simultaneously as your hardware will allow, unless the service has a limit on the number of concurrent clients watching at the same time, perhaps?

Thank you! I really like this feature. We can borrow login info from all our families. LOL! I seriously don't see the point of youtube tv for me now. Although, I will miss its great user interface.

Keep in mind that you won’t get every channel you can access through the YTTV app. If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading the support document found on the channels website that explains TVE and its limitations.

Yep, understood. I'm actually using Stremium too, between the two, they are pulling enough channels for me. Then I add locast to take care of the local channels issue.
