Looking forward to being able to skip a recording that is scheduled from the iOS apps! Can’t see that feature in the current beta. Will have to settle for the web view for this now.
On the schedule list you can click a recording and then click skip.
Are you trying to do it from somewhere else?
Should work from Guide tab too. Click Record then click Skip
Got it. Since it said “Record” when I clicked on it from the guide tab I assumed it wasn’t even registering that I had set it up to record. I was expecting it to behave like the web view where it says “skip” if it is set to already record. Kinda confusing how it’s currently laid out.

I fixed this up so the button now says “Scheduled” when it’s a scheduled recording. It’s on the new beta that’s rolling out now.
Sweet, much better! It’s still not entirely clear that pressing the “Scheduled” button takes you to more options for the recording but people should be able to figure it out. You could just call it “Options” or “Recording Options” instead and change the option button inside that menu to “Padding” like it is in the web ui. That would make it more clear I think.
And a suggestion for fitting the buttons on the iPhone app better is to change “Skip Recording” to simply “Skip”.
