Earlier today, I noticed a conflict (4 shows scheduled at same time, only 3 tuners).
At first, to resolve I tried to reschedule one recording (on a pass) however, I wasn’t able to schedule the later showing (the later show indicated queued at the earlier time and wouldn’t allow any entry). From previous experience I knew that if I skipped it (the rule would be deleted and later show wouldn’t be scheduled).
As this show was in the fourth position, I decided to just let it try to record (knowing that it wouldn’) to see if it would then auto reschedule to later time. It didn’t.
Hence, the only way I could schedule was to wait until after the original start time (and then I was able to manually schedule the 2nd showing).
Please consider this use case when analyzing previous request on thread:
An immediate reschedule option for this “pass” use case is very desirable, however I also see the value in being able to “skip” a showing on a Pass, in addition to movie/one-off.
