Fairly often when I'm skipping back and forth through a recording on my Nvidia Shield the playback will stop and the Channels app will crash. When I load the app again the recording will no longer play. Force closing the app doesn't sort the issue but restarting the Shield fixes it.
The issue seems to happen when I press skip again before the last skip has completed. Eg. Skip forwards a couple of times then quickly skip back.
The server is running on a Windows PC, everything is connected using gigabit ethernet.
Please let me know if there are any logs or information I can provide.

Try changing the Decoder option in the app to Software
I changed the decoder setting and did a load of skipping. So far it seems much more stable. Thanks for the help.
