Slow starting recordings, freezes during RW and FF

Apple TV latest rev, WD MyCloudPR2100 NAS for recording storage, all hard wired ethernet.

I had a similar program 1-2 months ago that magically went away

Now what is happening is, I start a previously recorded show, this time it was CBS Evening News. Where usually (for past couple years) any recording immediately start up, there is a long pause, maybe 40-60 seconds before the program starts. Anytime after starting small rewind and fast forward actions ok, much more that that and it just freezes but revovers after 2-3 or more minutes.

I just tried it again (on older CBS News recording that had the disease) and it repeated. I just uploaded logs as well

Earlier this morning I shut everything down - all devices, my cable provider modem, wireless router, etc. Then slowly brought everything back up and still happened.

MyCLoudPR2100 shows no error and after thorough scan, passed all tests

Thoughts ?

In the app click Connect to DVR, then At Home, then enter 10.0.1.21

Wow, thanks, that older recording started right up, no delay

So what happened here for it to lose the original connection?

Do I need to do this on each Apple TV or device that uses the app?
