Slow startup times

I have noticed, maybe with the last couple of updates it seems like starting to watch a recording sometimes takes as much as 10 seconds to finally start playing.

When I first began using the App startup was almost instant. Sometimes the App itself even takes around 2-5 seconds to start, which isn’t too bad, just thought I would mention it.

Usually this means the network link between the client and the DVR is limiting throughput. Are you wired in on both sides?

Yes. The DVR is on my Windows 10 PC which is hardwired to the modem/router and the Shield is also hardwired to the same modem/router.

Could it be a bottleneck issue? I could try refreshing the router and see if it makes any difference.

I have the same setup but haven’t seen the same issue.

I can start a recording remotely (100 miles away) at original quality and it takes less than 2 seconds.
