Small faults & issues with 2.0

Hi, have an issue with the new TV guide. When I attempt to scroll down it suddenly jumps to the very bottom of the TV guide, and then of its own occord it then jumps back up to roughly where I was scrolling. does the same when scrolling up too.
Also with the new guide, if your scrolling backwards through the times, it’s too easy to accidentally go from the guide to the sections down the left hand side (sports, movies, favourites etc) without realising it. And if you then go to go up or down, you get quite disoriented and then suddenly realise your on the sections column on the left.
I think either the highlighting of where you are on that page needs to be a little more clearer. Then if you accidentally go into the left column, you’ll realise before scrolling up or down. Or there needs to be more of a buffer to stop it happening. Maybe allow the channel logos to be highlightable, but not selectable, just to create a buffer, or move that column (favourite, sports etc) to the top like on the “On now” tab so the two different navigation pages have a similar lay out to each other.
Resolving these issues should make the navigation a little easier and more natural.

Last but not least. I apologise to everyone for my rant a few months ago on here. I still remain very disappointed that there is no UK DVR in the pipeline for the foreseeable future, however I did go a little OTT with my criticisms. Again, sorry, and nice to see the guide finally make an appearance. Peace and love :v:️️:heart:️

We actually did add a little bit of friction in between the two sections based on beta feedback, so if you swipe left quickly it should not switch over to the filter list. If you’re still having issues maybe we need to tweak it a little further.

Yeh that would be good, or have it as a banner across the top like on the “on now” page. Either way.
I sent two emails with vids to show the issue with the random scrolling up and down. Sorry if they’re not clear, but they do show the issue occurring. Sent to the support@getchannels email address. Seems to happen more when using DVB for guide data, but just guess the increase in issues occurring is down to the larger 7day guide data.

The app was not well tested with multiple days of guide data since we only have 4 hours available here in the US. I think I know what the issue is so I will try to fix it.
