Ok reboot didn’t fix it. Here is the log. I can’t seem to stream in the browser but I do have access. Port is forwarded in router too. Any ideas?

These are pretty harmless. You can uncheck the “enable remote access” option on the DVR to make it stop.

I do use the remote access sometimes and I can still access it just fine. I was concerned because this is the first time I have seen this error and my settings page has this for remote access:

Error: Failed to map port… Enable port-forwarding for 8089 manually.

The port is forwarded manually already and I still have access. So I should ignore this error?

If you have forwarded ports manually, then you can uncheck the box. Remote access will still work as you already set up the forwarding manually.

Got it! Thanks.

Hey @TricBox, I’m trying to improve our upnp support so we can map automatically on more routers. Can you run some tests for me?

What model router are you using?

Try upgrading to the latest DVR prerelease (HOLD SHIFT and click on Check For Updates), then switch from Manual to Automatic and post the new error message in the Log tab. Try this before and after you remove the port-forward you added yourself on the router.

I’ll do that when I get home tonight. As far as model router. At the time of the post it was a Netgear Nighthawk X4S R7800. Now it has been set up as an access point behind a Verizon G1100.

Ah, are you using a manual rule on the G1100 now?

Since your setup has changed, don’t worry about trying this. I will find another user who is affected.

I was using a manual rule with both set ups. Without it I couldn’t get anything outside the home.
