Some shows not appearing when restricting virtual channel by seasons?

Hello I have 13 shows tagged with “Label A” and set my Virtual Channel smart rule to include content with Label:Label A, Season # >= 1, Season # <= 3. When doing so, I have some shows dropping out of the lineup. This apparently happens when the season number rule is added - even if it’s just Season # = 1. Can anyone else reproduce this? The Virtual Channel is also set to Season/Episode order.

Is there a better, or more proper, way for me to do this?

I sent logs for the devs in case it’s some kind of bug ( 7b4621f0-870e-410a-841e-2400a7373cb0).

This shows all 13 shows when no season number rule is added.

This shows that some shows got dropped out when restricted by season number.

Weird. Try regenerating the search database from settings

Hello, thank you for the suggestion. I ran Settings>General>Maintenance>Regenerate Search Index then looked at my test channels and made a new one but am still seeing the same result.

I have glanced at some of the missing shows such as All In The Family, and it appears to have the same naming scheme as the other ones that are included in season restricted channels, and when I go to that show in Channels, it does list a Season 1 with episodes.

Which sort option is set on the virtual channel

Season/Episode

If I remove the Labels rule and add a Genre: Sitcom rule, then the missing shows will come back (if they are a sitcom). So it seems something specific with the Labels. I went to All In The Family and removed the Label then added it back but that didn’t seem to get it in the rotation when Labels+Season rules are enabled.

I am using Labels to directly filter what shows I want on a given virtual channel.

As another attempt to fix it, I went to all these shows with this Label and added an additional one but now when I use that new Label and Season #, I get zero results. I’ve regenerated the search index and tried refresh library info as well.

I was thinking maybe it had to do with when I added the "missing" files, like a newer server version. However, I just added a new show and went to my virtual channel and it added the new one in right away.

Edit: Well, I guess that doesn't mean much. I didn't set the label just now, which means I did before. When? I don't know.
