I will record 30 minute shows but every few shows there is one that shows as interrupted and instead of 30 min long it's upwards of 25 hours. When I go to look at the file on my hard drive it shows as 30 minutes between starting and ending so I know it's not really 25 hours long. Any clue as to what's going on?
There are two issues going on.
The first is the interrupted flag which will show up if frames are lost either because of reception errors if you are using an antenna or a network issue, probably between your home and the source.
The length issue is most likely something to do with the formatting of the file as it's saved with the first issue likely causing the second.
Short interruptions don't matter and if the video were not flagged as interrupted, you might not notice. You can safely ignore the video length issue though the playback graph on the bottom will show the issue if you pause or skip commercials manualy.
Same here. I think it only happens on Pluto and one other channel.
