We need more ways to sort movies preferably by Year .. In order to watch movies collections in sequence we should be able to sort by year... for example I recently recorded all Jurassic and alien movies but sorting by name does not help.

Can this be submitted to the Fire TV store.
Can we add the ability to sort TV shows and Movies by different orders? For example I like to see my shows by most recent recorded but Movies in alphabetical order? Currently they are being treated and sorted the same.

Man, you guys rock! Love all the improvements, new features and fast fixes.
I got 2.1.16 last night but it doesn't appear to fix the sorting issue. Movies and Recorded TV are both applied the same sort selection.
Edit: appears to work on Shield TV but on my phone the sorting is the same
Good catch. Fixed for mobile in 2.1.17
