Sound dies after exiting Channels to Apple TV 4K Home

Hey everyone - I've been having a weird problem using Channels 5.2.2 on a new ATV 4K connected to a new Vizio 4K TV with HDMI-CEC. Also using the latest-greatest HDHomeRun 4K four tuner model. Up until about a week ago the devices were all working great and my OTA TV via ATV was stellar.
Now something weird has come up. When I turn on the TV and ATV (using just the ATV remote!) and enter Channels, I can stream OTA TV perfectly, but when I exit the app and go back to the ATV menu, sound dies. Nothing. Totally silent. Not even "mouse clicks" when I move the cursor from app to app.
The only thing that seems to bring back sound is either rebooting the ATV, or powering down the TV and leaving it off for an hour or so.
Rebooting the TV or power cycling the TV has no effect. So I'm assuming it's a combination of Channels 5.2.2 and HDMI audio on the ATV.
I'm using Experimental audio and video drivers on Channels, and using Channels DVR 2022.02.03.2057 on a WD My Cloud PR2100 under OS 5.
It all works perfectly w/no problems in iOS, iPadOS, and on a second TV/ATV 4K/AVR combination, connected to an ancient Panasonic plasma TV with no HDMI-CEC.
I've fiddled with this for a few hours and can't stop the sound from dropping out. As I said, it started about a week or 10 days ago, so I wonder if it's a tvOS 15.3 issue or a Channels app issue.
Any thoughts or ideas will be appreciated! Thanks! Love the support on these boards.

Not sure what was causing this issue, but for whatever reason - it appears to have resolved itself. Case closed! (for now)
