I would like to have the ability to change channel sources at will. For instance, my local channels come into the Channels server via antenna as well as TVE. I prefer the antenna connection because it's better quality, however let's say for example a storm comes through and the signal becomes pixelated and choppy. I'd like to be able to click the quick guide on my remote and choose the TVE source manually on the fly for the channel I'm watching.
If you change the duplicate stacking to use channel numbers, then both entries will show in the guide.
Yes I know but then I have to remember where each channel ends up in my channel line up or search for it. Plus it just makes the guide cluttered. I would just like it a little more streamlined than that. There may be a slight lazy factor involved....
You could put them both in a Channel Collection; that way you can have one with just the duplicates, and arranged/ordered to you liking.
Beyond that, additional complexity in the UI for a niche feature for laziness ...
