I’m running the Spectrum app on my Apple TV. Unfortunately you can’t make recordings. Is there anyway to configure channels with spectrum app, Not the TVE config. There are some channels on the app that are not on the TVE config. Thanks
No. It's only via TVE. I have Spectrum Choice which is internet only. I do have their cloud DVR service as a backup for my Channels DVR since TVE is still Beta so sometimes (rarely for me) there are issues.
What channels are you not getting via TVE?
Ifc Tcm Sundance…I’m going to try a rescan with TVE setup. Maybe that will do the trick. The quality video on the spectrum app is far superior than channels. It’s not a deal breaker for me just sayin.
If it exists as a TVE channel, then you should be able to scan it in. If it isn't working the devs here are good with support.
I am not subscribed to that particular channel, but all the ones I have do come in fine.
I prefer Channels DVR over Spectrum's cloud mostly because of the auto commercial skip options and the fact that what I record is now on my harddrive for me to keep forever if I want. Some shows are watch and delete but some go into my permanent library. I can't do that with the Spectrum DVR.

Typical advice from devs is to manually log into the TVE stream with provider credentials via your browser and see what happens.
