Spectrum TVE scanning error - illegal invocation

Because of the recent "authz retires failed" error on Spectrum TVE, I removed the Spectrum source and re-added. This worked, but as I have seen before when adding Spectrum, there were about 10 channels that didn't add, due to the error "403 you've exceeded the maximum number of streaming sessions". In the past, I would just rescan those channels every few hours, and eventually they would all scan successfully.

So, I'm at that point now, and a few channels have rescanned, but today I ran into this error when trying to scan the remaining:

TypeError: Illegal invocation at reactValueSet (tveloginhelper.js:193:28) at spectrumLogin (tveloginhelper.js:40:5) at tveloginhelper.js:259:5

For the channel that returned this error, I was able to go their website and login in with my Spectrum credentials, and watch live TV there.

I would recommend submitting diagnostics. It would probably also be worth trying it every day or two to see if starts working.

Logs submitted.

Same. I now have no Spectrum at all :frowning: Had "auth retries failed", so I updated to 2020.11.24.2138 this morning. Error still occurred. I then removed Spectrum as a source and when I tried to add it back, I received a splash page after entering my credentials "...Auth failed for Spectrum: TypeError: Illegal invocation..". Spectrum is down everywhere.

Thank you. Reading the forums, I saw the app needs to be taught how to click the auth button for Spectrum. Anxiously waiting for the update

I guess I'm fortunate, since I was able to delete and re-add Spectrum as a source, before this "illegal invocation" error cropped up. I'm just missing about 10 channels that did not scan in the original re-add, and now error with the illegal invocation. The channels that did scan still appear to be working OK.
