Spectrum's latest "trick"

Streaming sources seem to be repackaging as the time they can add unlimited "Taxes" and "Fees" is coming to an end. Spectrum came out with an offer of the their streaming channels plus a discount on internet service at a very favorable total price -- roughly what I had been paying for internet plus Philo, but with Fox News and Business, which Philo doesn't provide.
It was all great for two weeks, and then channels started disappearing on TVE. Spectrum apparently instituted a limit on the number of "logins" in a given time period, which effectively prevented TVE from authorizing the whole channel list, and locked me out from their account app for a half hour at a time to boot.
Back to Philo, which just works. . .

This is not new. Spectrum has always stopped authenticating after a certain limit was reached. Usually if you try again in 24-48 hours, the other channels will authenticate. (Just be sure to selectively rescan a channel rather than attempting to do the whole list again, other you will be locked out again.)
