So with preloading of commercial thumbnails that takes a big pain point off my list. One other aspect that might be helpful is the ability to mark shows for splitting.
What do I mean?
It could create a duplicate video file for Comskip with different mark ups.
Go in to Paw Patrol (as an example)
Go to edit commericals
Select "show 1 video locations" Select "show 2 video location"
When saved it duplicates the video and marks the opposite portion of the show as a "commercial"
This way when loading in to Comskip it will process two separate files although its the same file just with different Comskip timestamps. When it processes your Show 1 video it removes everything from Show 2 as well since its marked as a commercial and the opposite happens as well.
This would be extra helpful for those shows that are never sequential on the different mini-episodes they show. As an example Pepa Pig might have a single 30 min show where it has a 5 min show from Season 1, then Season 3, then Season 4.
I think I might have a workaround in the meantime by setting the commercials, copying the file out of the Channel directory, setting the commercials again, then copying that file out of channels.
