Sportscenter Series Pass Settings?

One thing that I appreciated about YouTube TV was that when I set up a recording pass for Sportscenter, it would just record the new episodes, not every rerun of Sportscenter that came after it, and it would also be able to record the episode correctly even though the start times jump around a bit given live sports running over, etc.

With Channels, it looks like ESPN has tagged every episode (or most episodes) of Sportscenter with the "New" tag, so my DVR ends up recording 10+ episodes a day, which is obviously not what I'm going for.

Any tips on the right conditions to use to narrow my series pass down such that it is only recording legitimately new episodes (1-2 a day?) or is this just a limitation of the tags that ESPN uses?

Edit your pass in your Channels DVR Server web admin to use advanced options like start time.

This recommendation seems to work well for Sportscenter which has a stable schedule, but I'm having problems trying to nail down a single recording of College Gameday. CG comes on several times after the final colleges games. Any way we could 'Limit' recordings to 1 on the 'Advanced' tab of the Series editor? Or would that even help?
