I have a number of TV episodes downloaded and imported via Personal Media, and an SRT file is located in the same folder (with the same name as the video file, except the extension) - it's even recognised in the "View Details" option under metadata - but the subtitles aren't being displayed at all.
The metadata says:
"Extras":[
0:{
"Type":"subtitle"
"Path":"s01e02 Episode 2 2025-02-10 (m0027nkp).srt"
}
And the file seems to be valid but nothing is shown. Only on or off options are shown in the player (I'm using the Apple TV client, but I've also checked on iPhone). Subtitles are shown fine when playing back a recording (from a SAT>IP source), and in most cases for live tv. Any idea what's going wrong?
I've uploaded the file to Dropbox but the first few entries are:
1
00:00:04,200 --> 00:00:07,520
<font color="#ffffff">Tucked away in Europe's</font>
<font color="#ffffff">south-east corner,</font>
2
00:00:07,520 --> 00:00:12,960
<font color="#ffffff">the Balkans is a region</font>
<font color="#ffffff">of unexpected beauty...</font>
3
00:00:12,960 --> 00:00:15,560
<font color="#ffffff">That is breathtaking.</font>
