How exactly does the startup section work when set to App Launch & Resume? Is it based on how long between launching the app?

Quick follow up question. I have one of my AppleTV clients set up for live TV on app launch and resume. That said, if I exit Channels while a non default live tv channel is playing and return approximately 5-10 minutes later, I would expect the TV channel to change to the default channel in the settings, however the channel doesn’t change. Does live TV behave differently on app resume from other startup sections?
Are you leaving the app while in the player? Does it make a difference on the behavior if you're on the guide or the player when you leave the app and come back?

Yes, I’m leaving the app while live TV is playing. If I leave Channels while it is on any other section, it will properly tune to the default channel and start live TV.
The start up feature respect the current player and doesn’t disrupt it.

Disregard. I toggled a whole bunch of stuff and something must've fixed it. Don't really know what did it.
Need some help with playing a live channel on launch. I read the support doc and tried various different settings but can't figure it out. I did notice I don't have "Default" as on option when selecting startup channel. Just a list of TVE networks.
Settings > General > Start Up > Start Up Section > Live TV; then set your desired channel at Start Up Channel.
