I’m not sure if this problem is a software or hardware issue, but I’ve noticed that several recordings (10 +) have missing content. While watching a recording, the video will just skip ahead and I won’t be able to jump backwards (or forwards). Unfortunately, this happened last night during the 4th quarter and overtime of the super bowl.
My hardware consists of a 8-core (older) Mac Pro, Apple TV, and HDHR Prime with cable card. I suspect that my cable signal might be insufficient for the tuner at times.
I wish I could figure this problem out so that I could get rid of my Tivo, but this happens too often to completely trust Channels DVR yet.
