I’ve had an issue with Tailscale and Channels DVR running on a fire cube watching programs away from home. Programs will just stop playing in the middle and it will be impossible to get them started again even the next day or even on a new device.
Today I discovered that if I disconnect Tailscale and reconnect that it works again. I tested that on two different program recordings.
What I don’t understand about that is that the second program I tested stopped working on a different device, a Samsung phone. But when I tried to play it on the fire cube it would not play until after I had disconnected Tailscale.
I’m posting this hoping it might help somebody else, but also hoping somebody else might give me a clue as to what is going on.
