Over the past few weeks, channels on ATV has started freezing after about an hour’s use. A minute after freezing the screen goes black and displays the ‘connection lost’ error.
Pressing Menu to go back to the guide and then selecting the same channel again always works fine & re-starts the stream.
Setup: 2 x HDHomeRun Connects + 1 older HDHomeRun Dual hard-wired to Orbi mesh WiFi hub. ATV wireless on WiFi network. All updated to latest firmware/software versions. 6 ATVs on the network. All displaying the same problem.
Any ideas?
PS, I’ve got “tuner sharing” turned off…
This would happen only if the connection between the ATV and the HDHR was unstable.
Have you made any changes to the Wi-Fi setup recently? Are the APs all plugged in to Ethernet?
