Stream never starts, just spins and spins - is there a log to check?

As I've mentioned in a different thread, I'm trying to get a VPS based channels dvr install working. I have the setup installed and provider/guide loaded. But channels never tune - I click watch now and it just spins and spins and spins.

Is there a log I can look at or is there a way to monitor the channels-dvr service to see what the hangup is?

We don't support installations on VPS. This is a product designed to be installed and run in your home. In particular TVE streams are back listed on VPS IPs and will never work there.
