Hi! I’d like to know if its possible to set cache / timeshift location to different drive other than my movies and TV shows. I have a 4tb usb3 drive for mass storage wich is quite slow and it keeps this noise when i have recordings and maybe some commercial detection running at same time. When this happens its impossible to watch live tv without constant freezing of picture. If i could use my SSD system drive for all resource hungry cache / timeshift jobs i’d think that make whole System to run better?
Stop the DVR server, create a symlink for the streaming directory to your location of choice , and then restart the DVR.
