Struggling with Passes and Recurring Shows

Hi folks, I'm new here to Channels and have what feels like a newbie situation that I shouldn't be struggling with. I've got Channels server setup and everything works quite nicely with live TV from my IPTV source. We watch it with a client on our Sony Bravia with Google TV built-in. It's slick and has high wife-approval ratings except for this one nuisance.

The one program the wife & I want to record is the nightly news at 10pm. I setup a "pass" with two conditions; 1) "Time" contains "10pm" and; 2) "Title" contains "CTV National News". It matches the two days that my EPG data provides and sets up jobs to record them. After those two episodes are recorded, it doesn't record any more unless I edit or delete/re-add the pass and even then sometimes I need to change the "Matches" from "Recorded" to "Queued" before it will show on the schedule again.

The guide data from my provider is updated once every 24 hours at 3am Eastern. I setup the source to refresh every 12 hours because I can't control the time that Channels grabs it. The guide in the client app is updated with new episodes or airings I think you folks call them.

I've set it up again to record and this time, I'll pay more attention to what the log reveals over the next couple of days.

Am I missing some detail on how to set this up properly? Any advice on what to try or to look for, would be appreciated. I'll try to attach a few images of my relevant settings.

The server is running the docker image.

Best bet would be to ditch the XMLTV and map the channels over to the built-in guide data which will provide accurate guide data for recording.

I didn't realize that was an option. I have some US and UK channels too. Would I need to split them out into separate sources to make the matching easier?

Edit: Oops my channel numbers don't line up with any of those providers. It scheduled 16 recordings but it's the wrong channel number.
