Struggling with Streamlinks from apple

Hello. I am really struggling with streamlinks. I seem to have successfully created the file. I have a mac, so I use textedit. I created a file that has the link in it that was pulled from https://tools.applemediaservices.com/ and saved it. Because of the way textedit is, it saves as a .rtf file, but I have manually gone in and changed the extension to .strmlnk. I even got the warning message that told me it would open in another app if I changed the extension and approved it. When I import the folder, all the movies are there, but when I click watch nothing happens. It doesn't open a new app on the Apple Tv or on my iPad. I'm not sure what else could be the issue. I tried joining the beta group and downloading the beta client to see if that would fix the issue. It didn't. I have verified that my DVR is up-to-date. I've tried re-starting devices. Nothing seems to work.

I imported it through local content. Is that the issue? The instructions on the website seemed to indicate that was how it should be done and it is definitely seeing the files because they all show up in my movies in the client. They just don't open the appropriate app when I click watch.

It's probably still saved as an rtf file. It needs to be txt file before you rename it.

Thanks, I'll try this and see if it fixes it.

Thank you! I've tested this on a couple of movies and it worked.
