I attached my media share to the Channels container as a read only volume to prevent accidents.
Later, when browsing the media, I saw I had two short videos that were the same title for different media types (mp4/m4v) and I clicked Delete thinking it would tell Channels to ignore it, but not attempt to delete it from the file system. However, I now see this in the log roughly every 5 minutes:
[ERR] Failed to delete #6479 /plexmedia/shorts/Disney/Get a Horse.mp4: remove /plexmedia/shorts/Disney/Get a Horse.mp4: read-only file system
So,
(a) setting the volume read-only did prevent an accident,
(b) I don't know how to tell Channels how to hide something in the media system, and
(c) I don't know how to get rid of this delete request that's not ever going to succeed.
I thought maybe a restart would make it forget. I restarted the container, but a new log entry appeared shortly after the restart for another failed delete (followed by another 5 minutes later). So, how do I tell Channels to forget this request to delete a file that it cannot?
