I click on Check for pre-release updates, and it says downloading 2021.08.12.0054 but then it stays on
2021.08.08.2140? Haven't had a problem updating before. Restarted Win 10 PC but it still won't update. Thanks.
Tried updating in both Chrome and Edge browser with no luck. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and still it won't update to newest pre-release.

Seems like something is messed up with your install. Might be best to backup, reinstall and restore.

You reinstalled but its still on 08.08? That doesn't make sense.
Yes. I thought the same thing. I thought maybe it was because the backup/restore.
Doesn't sound like it uninstalled.
Make sure task manager doesn't show channels-dvr.exe
Then rename/delete c:\programdata\channelsdvr before reinstalling.

Thanks. It was really late when I messed with it. I shouldn't have trusted the installation file to completely remove everything. I renamed the original install folder and reinstalled it. Updated fine. Thanks.
