Stuttering 1080i OTA Channels & Multiview

I've noticed since football started (when I use Multiview the most) that the CBS & NBC OTA affiliates start to stutter after a period of time when in multiview. Eventually the video lags well behind the audio.

Other OTA channels (720p) and other sources play just fine within the same Multiview session. It worked fine last season.

I'm on a gen2 Apple 4k tv (silver remote), hardware decoding, mac mini m4 server, network is hardwired. As far as I know all OS's are up to date and I've been running the beta DVR versions (updating weekly).

I’ve seen the same on my local CBS OTA station in multiview. Gen 3 Apple TV 4K

If I change the interlacing setting on the client from hardware to either of the software settings, I haven't seen the issue occur (but the quality stinks).
