Subscription expired on server, cannot download guide data anymore

Hello everyone,

A few days ago, my server web UI was showing expired subscription, which is odd because it's been paid for. Now I cannot pull anymore guide data and no recordings are being scheduled. I tried to rebuild the database and it doesn't seem to work. I also tried to reset the guide provider zip code (OTA) with no success. I tried to restart the server 5 times, but nothing seems to work.

I went to the troubleshooting page and I am getting these errors:

What confuses me is that I can still access and stream from my server outside my network, yet it's telling me I cannot do so.

When I try to reset the guide provider zip code, I get this error:

I have no clue what is going on. Is anyone having a similar issue?

Looks suspiciously like you’re using a DNS-based ad blocker that is blocking important connections from working.

I am not using any ad blocking on my router. I'm running this server off Ubuntu.

If it helps, I had a power outage a week before that interrupted a recording. I couldn't access it after that, then I realized it switched IP address (still on DHCP). Set back to previous address (and switched to static) on my machine, and it seemed to be working no problems. Would that have anything to do with it?

It could be you had some hardcoded IPs related to your DNS settings that caused issues. Glad you got it worked out!

I fixed my issue! Looks like my netplan configuration file on Ubuntu 20.04 was not set up properly. Always have to define the default DNS of 8.8.8.8. I can communicate with the proper servers now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
