I had to let my Subscription lapse for a bit due some financial issues. I am not looking for sympathy 
But I have a question. When I first got these couple years ago, I actually paid for it (25 bucks for the app) I did not at the time realize If I had a subscription it was included, My question is are there any feature I can still use now until I resubscribe at a later date? TIA L
The paid Channels for HDHomeRun app will let you watch from an HDHR tuner.
I think it includes a day or two of guide data.
It allows you to pause, rewind, and fast forward live TV (pause time depends on how much memory your client device has).

The $25 CHANNELS app is a ONE TIME purchase. All it does, is give you guide data while using an HDHR tuner.
The yearly sub $80~ CHANNELS DVR, is for DVR service, AND you have to be running it on your own server. That gives you guide data, AND the ability to record shows to a local harddrive, just like if you had a Tivo, etc.
