Will someone be kind enough to tell me what i get, if anything if I got rid of my channels dvr subscription. I'd be interested in looking at TVE, if possible. DVR is not necessary. Or are there any other apps that would allow me to use TVE?
I think there used to be a comparison of what I get with and without a subscription. But I don't recall where I saw it.
You don’t get anything without a subscription. Channels is a subscription based system.
Your other option is Channels for HDHomeRun, which requires an HDHomeRun. It supports pausing and rewinding and has 24 hours of guide data.
The price for the yearly Channels subscription is a huge value.
I appreciate what is offered and feel developers need support.
