I have noticed that my movie that was added has subitles in original quality. However if I stream away from the server, and set to 8mbit, the subtitles are stripped from the movie.
So while transcoding you loose subtitles.
Please submit diagnostic report when error occurs. Always submit diagnostic report when reporting bug/issue. Without it, devs cant offer as much help.
Are subtitles embeded or external? They work when on local network but not when transcoding remotely correct.
they dont work transcoding at home or abroad.

They work on all my Android Clients. Transcoding at home and remote.
What is the source of your video ?
x265 4k movie. The subtitles just say track 1-5. they dont work.
