How can we tell if the TVE 6002 Fox broadcast is in 4k or 1080p? Will it say in the logs or somewhere else?
There may be an easier way, but this works.
Record something (can be for just a minute).
Library-> TV Shows -> Click on the show name you recorded. ->
Select show episode you recorded. -> Options -> View Details ->
**Track #0: or Track #1 will show something like "1280x1080".
The second number is the resolution.

Key words:
Fox will stream Super Bowl LIX live on its free ad-supported television (FAST) platform Tubi.
Fox plans to stream the broadcast in 4K on the platform.
From the article, it sounds like TVE auth won't be needed (like last year), so Channels TVE Fox won't work.
The Super Bowl will be distributed across Fox, Fox Deportes and NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, as well as NFL digital properties. Viewers will not have to pay a subscription fee or be a subscriber to a cable or satellite system to gain access.
Tubi will stream Super Bowl LIX in February for free on its platform using FOX’s feed of the game, the company announced.
Viewers will be able to watch the game on Feb. 9 when they sign up via email registration. There will be no Multichannel Video Programming Distributor authentication or credit card sign-up needed to be able to watch it.
Please keep this thread on topic (Channels DVR TVE Fox channel).
Discussions about Tubi and the SB are in the Tubi for Channels docker topic
Unless we get an Experimental feature like this
Not going to happen
I get all Fox 4k games with the E+ docker container.
Does that use Fox TVE ?
Yes you have to use your provider credentials so that the docker can access the feeds.
Ah, thought so.
I can't get TVE Fox to stream in Channels DVR, so most likely wouldn't work in EPlus.
Yes you can't stream the Fox channel, it's only for sports events. And I'm not even sure the SB will be in 4k through the container because all the NFL games come from nfl.com which only sends out 720p (via NFL+.which is mobile only).
But if Tubi is going to do it in 4k I suppose that's an alternative.
I did some checking during the Fox game yesterday and Fox TVE did not work for me on 6002.
I also set a recording on the EPlusTV feed and it recorded in 4K HDR.
Yeah TVE for fox seems not to work ....

Doesn't EPlusTV use the Fox TVE feed for the Fox channel?
Wondering how it can record when Channels Fox TVE doesn't work?
Yes, it seems to use TVE, but unlike Channels it provides a code to enter on the Fox Sports website. You authorize using provider credentials (YoutubeTV, for me) and the code. It's like it is mimicking an Android TV app.
This is exactly what I saw yesterday
