There may be an easier way, but this works.
Record something (can be for just a minute).
Library-> TV Shows -> Click on the show name you recorded. ->
Select show episode you recorded. -> Options -> View Details ->
**Track #0: or Track #1 will show something like "1280x1080".
The second number is the resolution.
From the article, it sounds like TVE auth won't be needed (like last year), so Channels TVE Fox won't work.
The Super Bowl will be distributed across Fox, Fox Deportes and NBCUniversal’s Telemundo, as well as NFL digital properties. Viewers will not have to pay a subscription fee or be a subscriber to a cable or satellite system to gain access.
Tubi will stream Super Bowl LIX in February for free on its platform using FOX’s feed of the game, the company announced.
Viewers will be able to watch the game on Feb. 9 when they sign up via email registration. There will be no Multichannel Video Programming Distributor authentication or credit card sign-up needed to be able to watch it.
Yes you can't stream the Fox channel, it's only for sports events. And I'm not even sure the SB will be in 4k through the container because all the NFL games come from nfl.com which only sends out 720p (via NFL+.which is mobile only).
But if Tubi is going to do it in 4k I suppose that's an alternative.
Yes, it seems to use TVE, but unlike Channels it provides a code to enter on the Fox Sports website. You authorize using provider credentials (YoutubeTV, for me) and the code. It's like it is mimicking an Android TV app.
