Super Glitchy Playback on ABC

I've been having issues the last few weeks trying to watch Jeopardy, DVR'd off an HD antenna on ABC.

I use an HD HomeRun, connected via Ethernet to a Mac Studio Channels server, also on Ethernet. The Mac has plenty of power, and there are no network issues.

I can watch ABC via Channels with no issues, but watching anything from ABC on DVR is a blocky, glitchy mess.

Any ideas?

62% of the recording had issues with the signal (reception). You’ll need to reposition your antenna to fix this.

Thanks for the response! That's what I thought, but every time I check the signal manually it's 93-97%. (currently 95% at 9:20 PM - see pic)

I wonder what makes it drop from 7-7:30 PM every night... Maybe I'll switch to trying TVE for local networks.

Might want to go with an LTE filter. I had an issue where mine would drop like 30% for no reason. Havent seen that since I installed the filter. FCC allowed the LTE bands to creep really close to the TV freqs

If a LTE filter doesn’t help it could also be an EMI interference issue. Did you replace anything that uses electricity a few weeks ago that you use regularly at that time? Could be anything from a dishwasher to an LED light bulb. Even a neighbors motion porch light have been known to kill tv signals.

This is the way, especially on VHF.

I had a very similar issue on a VHF station in my house. It would regularly drop 20-30% without anything to tie it to. Come to figure out that my son was using a USB-powered bed fan. Turn it on, and it drops. Turn it off, and all was well. I replaced its crappy USB power supply with a better one, and it helped.

It wasn't easy, but search on!

Thanks for all the ideas - it may be interference - I did re-wire my whole media cabinet a few weeks ago. I didn't change anything out, but did move some stuff around - maybe a power supply got jostled or is now touching a coax or something. I'll check it out, and also try an LTE filter. Lets see what I find!

I few weeks ago I had one channel go super glitchy after a storm. Thinking the storm rotated the antenna I repositioned the antenna to view the channel, but then I started seeing interrupted recordings on all channels. Using the website below I determined that an LTE cell tower went live at the time these problems started. I have an LTE filter arriving today which I expect will solve the problem.
