Many MU3 URLs point to a file that contains both the channels and the guide data. Custom Channels currently requires a separate URL for the guide data. Please add support to Custom Channels to extract the guide data from the MU3.

It just saves a step in having to copy the epg.xml url to settings. That would be nice, but I would still want control over how often CDVR refreshes the guide data vs. the lineup. For most FAST providers I like to refresh guide every 1 to 6 hrs, lineup once per day.

This is for the many sources that only include the guide in the MU3.
Yes, the download frequency should remain configurable.
