I have been using the service on a Synology NAS but any of HDhomerum Premium TV channels will play for a minute max before buffering and stopping. When I restarted the channel it does that same thing so I am not sure if this is something with my Synology NAS or what. I would like to move my DVR service to my Windows 10 Core I7 machine and just use my Synology NAS storage as the content storage to see if performs better but I am not sure how to move to the Windows platform from Synology without having to recreate everything on that platform from scratch. If anyone can provide the assistance to do this it would be appreciated. Thank you.
What Synology NAS do you have?
The NAS is a DS1511+
The DS1511+ appears to be a pretty capable box. TBH: Reading this and the SD forums it has been my impression that NAS' are generally a far more trouble-free DVR platform than MS-Windows boxes. (I could be biased. I don't like MS-Windows. At all.)
Is this happening with Live or recorded content? If Live: Have you tried turning tuner sharing off to take the DVR out of the equation?
I have not tried turning off the tuner sharing. Let me give that a try since It has become almost unusable using the product being it loses connection on pretty much any channel within a couple of minutes. It mostly seems to happening on live content.
