Wow, I knew my WDMycloudEx2 was a little slow, but I was surprised the performance and experience difference switching to a few years old i5 based PC with Linux. I was going to try to copy over all the existing settings and programs, but I abandoned that when I ran into problems mounting the WDMycloudEx2 on Ubuntu. DVR is super fast and responsive now, does comskip in a few minutes and will play via the web interface with the hardware transcode.

PPS: Is there anyway to set a season pass for something generic like “Vikings” without selecting a specific program?
