Switching from SageTV

I am getting ready to switch from my SageTV setup and I have a few questions.

My library recordings are stored on a NAS and marked as archive and do not show up on my main screen (set to current recording). Based on what I have ready, once I change the file structure to the recommended format, I can add these as local recordings.(Or is there a better approach?) I might even use PLEX for these.

My question is what do I do with the 100+ hours of current TV show recordings that I have from SageTV. (They are in TS format.) They are on the same hard drive as the Channels DVR primary recording directory. Is there a way I can add them as Channel DVR current recordings? I would like them to be on the primary recordings screen.

Imported local content appears inside your Library as if Channels recorded it. The only place it won’t appear is the Recordings page, which lists the past ~2 weeks’ recordings in a reverse chronological list.

If you use the Library (and Up Next) as your primary interface into your recordings, then they will appear side-by-side.
