Switching my.channelsdvr.net to new computer

I installed the Channels DVR server on a new computer, and restored the contents of the old server onto the new one. It's up-and-running and working great.

On the old server, I unchecked the "DVR" button in the maintenance GUI, but I don't want to uninstall it just yet.

However, when I go the my.channelsdvr.net, it takes me to the old server not the new one (even though the new server shows as being setup as Remote DVR).

What does it take to purge the old server from the my.channelsdvr.net redirect?

Come to think of it, I think the problem lies with my router, not with channels per se. Clearly the my.channelsdvr.net redirect is working, but my router is forwarding that port to the wrong computer on my LAN. I'll try rebooting my router.

If you've already ruled out an actual port forwarding issue on your router, one thing to try, would be to go to the IP address of your Channels DVR instead:

http://x.x.x.x:8089

(replace x.x.x.x with the LAN IP of the server running Channels DVR.)

Scroll down to this section. Turn it off and then on again:

That's worked for me in the past, at least...

Rebooting the router did the trick.
