Synology Antivirus Essentials skipping/ flagging Channels DVR files

New to Channels DVR.

I'm using a Synology 420 + and I'm getting Synology Antivirus warnings. When I look at the scan details is says NAS Antivirus Essentials is skipping large Channels DVR files. Recordings are from a HDHome run Quatro.

You can remove the antivirus in package manager.

I don't use that package, but the user documentation states it won't scan files 2GB or larger.

Known restrictions for the ClamAV engine:

  1. Files larger than 2048MB will not be scanned.

Thank you both, I didn't know about the 2048MB file limit. That is clearly the issue. It would be nice if I could stop the warning messages for skipping files larger than 2048 MB. I pulled up the setting but I don't see an option to kill the warning for larger files.

I modified the scan from full to custom that will skip the Channels DVR folders.

Thanks for the help
