Hi all. I just moved my Channels DVR to a Synology DS918+. It is working great, especially when no transcoding is needed. But when streaming locally to Channels Web Player which requires transcoding, the CPU goes up to about 30%. Not a big deal, but I expected the Synology's hardware transcoding to use less CPU than this. Any thoughts on this?
You can switch the web player to software and compare cpu usage

That was a good idea. It went from ~30% with hardware transcoding to ~80% with software transcoding. As I said, 30% CPU usage isn't a big deal. I was really just curious. Thanks!
